Chapter 1.7: Bachelorette Party and Toddlers

One morning, Jonathan went to the library to read something before his show. When he got there, he was surprised to see his brother in law on the floor. He didn't know what was going on, but he soon discovered that the parents of little Finn were at the other room, reading. Jonathan took Finn, fed him and played with him. He wanted to have a good relationship with him, because he was, indeed, his girlfriends half-brother.

Jonathan later interrumpted Melissa, saluting her and talking to her about her job and the baby. She seemed happy to be a mother, but Jonathan could feel that she really hadn't wanted to have a baby that soon. Yet, he didn't say anything about that, and changed the subject to Zoe's upcoming bachelorette party, to which Melissa was invited. Zoe hadn't wanted to invite her, but he had convinced her to start getting to know her. They didn't know each other, so the hate that Zoe felt for her was unnecesary and ridiculous.

That night, Jonathan had another performance. The location was better than the park, and he invited both Zoe and their son to watch it. They both went ther, and enjoyed how Jonathan performed his new trick with the box of mystery. It was a new object that they had given him, so that he could perform different tricks.

That night, when they got home and Zoe put Noel to sleep, she felt like she needed to have him in her arms. She was having a withdrawl.

Isn't this glitch funny?

The days kept going, and soon, it was Finn's turn of becoming a toddler. They didn't celebrate it, and Zoe only discovered it from the rumours that an alien told her that night. They became friends, but Zoe didn't really know if that friendship was really benefitial. They wouldn't see each other very well, and he wouldn't be able to vote for her in the local elections.

The day after, it was Noel's birthday. Zoe organised a party at her newly remodeled home. A lot of people came, but since Zoe had to take Noel to the birthday cake and she went outside to take him because Jonathan was the one holding him and he left him outside in the snow, most of the guests had already left by the time they arrived at the cake. Yet, both parents were happy of seeing their first child grow into a toddler, so they really didn't care about anything else.

Then, Zoe left his son in the snow again, so that he could age up. The poor baby was freezing, but he aged up well, and got a little makeover thanks to the clothes that they had purchased a couple of days ago. He was a lovely baby, but he was very tired, so he took a nap before starting to learn new things.

A week later, Zoe had her bachelorette party at the Dark Night Lounge. She literally invited all of the girls she knew in town, and went there leaving little Finn at home with the babysitter while Jonathan was working.
When she got there, and as she was getting out of the elevator, she fell. As embarrasing as that was, she didn't even bother caring about it. That night was gonna be awesome, and she would have a lot of fun.

As all af the girls started arriving, Zoe could only notice her friend Abby's outfit, which was definitely not appropriate fot the ocasion. Yet, she didn't tell her anything, since she had always been a little weird.

After dancing and dancing, Zoe started getting tired, but before the party ended, she wanted to have the opportunity to start getting to know Melissa, so they chatted for a while, and then Zoe decided to have some fun. She didn't really know what to expect from her, but she surprised her when she reacted happily. It seemed like they could even be friends, which made Zoe very happy. She didn't want to hate her forever without even knowing her, but being with her father was probably not the best thing to do.

That same day, Samuel turned into an elder, at home, alone except for her son, who was too young to notice the important event. While he was becoming an elder, Zoe started teaching his son how to walk, and the best space she found to do so was the backyard, in the middle of the snow. Perhaps winter was not the best moment to be parents.

I am very sorry for not posting anything for so long, but I couldn't even play the sims, since my final exams have required even more work than I had expected. Luckily, I have finished them, and now I only have to do the specific exams for accessing university, so I will be back on schedule pretty soon. I hope to post at least one chapter per week until half of June.
Again, I'm sorry for everything, and I hope you haven't decided to abandon me for such a long wait.
Thanks <3
