It was time for her to search for a job. She had known what she wanted to do when she grew older since she was a little girl: she wanted to be the mayor of her town, Riverview. She wouldn't be able to do that, since she had moved to Storybrook County (Link for the Download), but her objective was still the same. She was going to be a succesful politician, she would marry the man of her dreams, and she would have the most beautiful children of the world. She would be happy.
She got the job. She knew she would. She had always been a very charismatic girl, and she loved working.
When she got out of city hall, she found some people. She smiled, and introduced herself to some of them. She needed friends, in order for being voted when she got the chance of becoming the mayor. She started talking to some people, and ended up becoming friends with Derrick Peabody.
Later on, she decided to head to the library, because she knew that she would find a book that would help her oratory. There, she found some more people, but her eyes went straight to Matthew Hamming. She had been his fan since her teenage years, so she decided to try to befriend him. That would definitely help her becoming popular.
When he left, she decided to create an online dating profile. She knew that the internet was not a very reliable way of searching the love of her life, but she wanted to give it a try. She started browsing some of the profiles, and found some that caught her eye. She sent a couple of messages, without being sure of them being a good idea.
Before she noticed, the sun was gone. She knew that she had to go "home", but the library, which was now empty, seemed extremely warm, and the carpet looked really comfortable. So, she got her sleeping bag out of her inventory, set it on the floor, got in the sleeping bag and quickly fell asleep. She was completely exhausted.
She woke up later than she should have. She put on her work uniform (really?) and she ran to City Hall. She wanted to give the best impression and win everyone's favour.
When she got out of work, she headed home and took care of everything, which was basically just reciclying the newspaper. She then decided to grab a meal from her awesome minifridge, and since she was so tired, she couldn't help but sitting on the toilet. She would never admit it, but she felt pretty comfortable.
When she was washing the dishes, a man came to her with a package, that she was happy to receive. With the little amount of money that she had, she had ordered a mirror that she planned on using to get her speech even better. She spent the rest of the afternoon placing it, next to her school diploma. Her wall was looking really beautiful. It almost looked like a home (irony).
She managed to laugh, but it suddenly started to rain. That night, she was planning on sleeping at home, and she then realized that it was not a good idea. She would get sick, and being of such a low importance at her job, they would probably kick her out.
Zoe sighed, finally understanding how complicated it would be for her to have a nice life, and how unrealistic her dreams of having a perfect life were. She was completely alone, she was poor. But she had hope. And that would lead her to the awesome life that she had always wanted.
Aaaw poor Zoe! The old "eat your meal on the toilet" beginning, we all know how that feels. Or somehow I don't, because I always magically managed to buy a table and some chairs! Anyhow, that Matthew Hamming guy looks rather dishy, could he be the one? We'll see. :)
ResponderEliminarI hope her father will leave her alone, it definitely seems like he could bring her down again.
Her high school diploma looked really sad hanging there out in the rain. And the little mirror! Aw. :(
I know, eating on the toilet... How can you purchase a table and chairs? I mean, I have some money left, but I'm definitely saving it. And Matthew Hamming... I don't know, I love him in Bridgeport, but I've played him so many times...
EliminarI hope her father gets a better life, actually. He might come around, but not yet.

Hablar espanol? Hablo espanol! (un poco).
ResponderEliminarAnyway, back in English, I liked your start. I love how she has fairly high aspirations, and how you didn't create her partner in CAS. I wouldn't trust the townies.
I agree, her diploma looked sad in the rain... Kinda like one of those depressing artist paintings.
I'm Carrie on the forums too, I just thought I could give you a welcome here too, so... Welcome! (Hola! Buenas Dias!)
I do speak spanish, but don't worry. I know it's complicated :)
EliminarNot creating her spouse was a hard decision, but since she isn't living on an EA world, I trust the townies a little better.
Thanks for the welcome, it's nice to see that somebody took time reading my story.
Hope you keep reading <3
Hi, welcome to the random legacies :)
ResponderEliminarI liked the backstory you gave Zoe, I hope she can get enough money together soon to put a proper roof over her head, her stuff looks so lonely set out around her bathroom.
Yeah, I also hope that she can get a house soon. Yet, what I usually do with my legacies is waiting till the spouse moves in to start really building the house. I don't know, I might do something different this time.
EliminarThanks for reading my story. Hope you keep reading <3
Bienvenidos Laura! I like Zoe, she's a dreamer and she has a plan. And she wears her pearls while sitting on the toilet. :)
ResponderEliminarI love Zoe for those same reasons. Her ideas are very clear, and she always works it out.
EliminarThanks for coming by :)
