Her old self would have worried about someone listening to her monologue, but she was a different Zoe now. She wasn't embarrased of anything, mostly after the fact that she was sleeping outside and showering just behind a wall.
She finally found the appropriate words, so she went to bed. She had been on the mirror for longer than she had wanted, so it was already almost midnight. She didn't have to go to work the day after, so she would get advantage of it and invite Jonathan out.
And she did. They went to the local karaoke, which would have been a little embarrasing, but, since Zoe didn't care about what people said about her anymore, she had no problem choosing the place.

Perhaps she should go to the doctor and get her sight checked |
After spending a nice time together, they went to the bistro for dinner. When they got out, Zoe finally decided to confess her newly discovered feelings for him, so she started flirting with him. He responded, and Zoe felt extremely happy.
And then, even before she noticed what she was doing, she kissed him. At the first moment, she thought he would reject her, but he didn't, which made her feel luckier and happier than ever.
But the best part of the night came when he asked her to go steady (he actually didn't, but for the story purposes, I decided to change this a little). She said yes without doubting for a second, and then each of them went home. They didn't want to rush their relationship even more.
The next day, since it was leisure day, Zoe decided to throw a party at the beach, which had recently been remodeled. She had visited that beach the first day she was in town, and loved it because it had a pool and a lot of fun activities to do.
She invited her friends, co-workers and some acquaintances. And, of course, Jonathan. She planned her party for 2:00pm, so while she was wating, she decided to start painting. She had studied art as an afterschool activity when she was a child, but had left it when her father started having alcohol problems. Painting was one of the activities that she had promised to get back with her life change.

Of course, she will need a lot of practice to get to where she was when she was a kid |
A little later, she headed on to the beach, and put on her swimsuit and her sunglasses. While people was arriving, she decided to cook some hot dogs for the guests. Unfortunately, and since she didn't have a stove, she hadn't been improving her cooking skill, so she burnt them.
As the guests started to arrive, Zoe decided to put on some beach party music and start enjoying one of the last days of summer. To accomplish that, she dived, played with the waterfall and threw herself down the water slide.
The party ended up being a modest succes, which was not bad for her first party. Yet, Zoe promised herself that her next party would be much better. Actually, each party would be better. She was a party animal, so that WOULD happen.

Thanks again for the feedback guys. It really helps me and makes me happy. Hope you enjoyed this chapter, and I hope I can write quite often, but keep in mind that even if I plan a schedule, it can all get messed up because of the f*cking exams.
Thanks again, guys <3

Hi, and thanks for keeping on with my story. Actually, I didn't really do much to the beach, but I agree, it is lovely.
EliminarZoe and Jonathan seem like a perfect couple, but who knows; perhaps it really doesn't go well in the end...
Hope you keep reading <3
I like the remodeled beach :)
ResponderEliminarI love Zoe practicing in the mirror. And clearly it worked!
I also like the beach, but it was already beautiful at first, so I really didn't do much :)
EliminarYeah, I actually wanted to give her a reason to be practising on the mirror for so long, since she is going to need it.
Hope you keep reading <3
